It is a simple test done at the Pulmonary Function Testing Laboratory at TruDoc Medical. It entails monitoring of the patient’s oxygen saturation during a simple activity such as walking, which represent the same amount of effort during activities of daily living. If the patient oxygen saturation decreases below certain level, oxygen will be provided to the patient via nasal canula and titrated to achieve a desired goal of oxygen saturation based on the needs.
